We board only a few dogs, cats or other pets at a time in our home and treat them as part of our family.  We're a B&B for pets NOT a kennel (although we're less expensive than many kennels).  When you go on vacation so do your pets.  Your pets have about 900 sq. ft. of indoor space to enjoy with Donna & Ed and we can give them as much togetherness or separation as they need or desire.  Outside we have a large, diverse yard that dogs love to explore.  The yard is surrounded by a tall fence that's lined at the bottom with rock.  If your dog's a climber or a digger we've taken steps to make sure they stay safe and secure. 

We recently rebuilt our deck, giving special attention to making the steps easy for all dogs to navigate, and there's also a ramp for those who need more help.  Here's a short video of some of our guests enjoying our yard:

Your dog is going to have fun. One of us is almost always here to play with them or let them out.  Many of our guests go out 8, 10, even 12 times a day.  We want your dog to have as much fun on his or her vacation as you do on yours, maybe more.  We promote socialization, but we're also set up to give as much separation as needed or desired.  We've actually had several guests who didn't want to go home when their pet parents came to get them.

For cats we have a special cattery where they have lots of things to climb on or hide in and a large window with bird feeders outside so they can watch birds.

​Do you sometimes have to leave your pup alone for long periods like when you go to work or out for the day or evening?  We also do Doggie Day Care (for cats too).  Drop them off  on your way out and pick them up on the way home. 

​Our job is to give you peace of mind.

Ed, a lifelong pet parent, retired after a 30 year career as a yacht captain taking care of and protecting families and their yachts.  Donna, also a life long pet parent, has been in the companion animal and veterinary fields for more than 20 years, including managing veterinary  offices.  We currently share our home with 2 indoor and  several outdoor cats and our boarder pets.
